
This is not me. This is the famous philosopher-king, Younes. He is a French genius/ex-pat living among the South Koreans, many of whom claim him as their own.
To a vocal few, he is an appropriator, disruptor, antagonist. To me, he is a shining example of a man who has taken his love of Asian culture to new heights, albeit too far for some.
In lieu of a traditional alias, I will review Asian cuisine in Texas under the image and likeness of Younes, while using a name that combines my Middle Eastern heritage with Japanese formality, HABIBI-SAN
